AAPI Celebration

Thinking of starting up a small business? Or already in business? If so, a key consideration is Business Insurance.

Startup businesses face many of the same risks as bigger businesses, but with fewer resources to handle an accident or lawsuit. Business insurance protects your growing company from legal fees, costly repairs, and medical expenses.

Come to an informative session to hear more about the common risks faced by startups and the types of insurance available. We will address some common questions such as,

• How do I purchase insurance and what can I expect to pay?
• What is Workers Compensation coverage and when do I need to purchase the coverage?
• How does liability insurance protect my business? How much coverage do I need?
• What does “Additional Insured” status mean?
• What is a certificate of insurance? Why would I be asked for certificate? How do I obtain a certificate of insurance?
• Do I need Cyber insurance?

These Start Now sessions will include enhanced services for new students in need of English Language support. Students interested in our Basic English Language program, Intensive English program, OR Academic English Language Learner academic coursework are encouraged to attend.
