Basic Needs and Student Health & Wellness

At BHCC, we understand that students' physical and mental well-being are crucial to their academic success. To support our students, the College has implemented initiatives to meet basic needs such as housing, food security, and financial stability. BHCC offers resources and support services to assist students facing challenges in these areas. The DISH Food Pantry aspires to alleviate the barriers associated with food insecurity, to support student success at Bunker Hill Community College and to ensure that no one goes hungry because of a lack of income or access to food. Single Stop connects students with existing safety-net resources and helps identify wrap-around services. Additionally, the College is committed to prioritizing mental health by offering counseling services, resources, and outreach through the Student Counseling, Prevention and Wellness Center
