Start Now Sessions at BHCC
BHCC will offer services in-person and virtually for new and returning students. Start Now BHCC events will run November 29, 2023 through January 29, 2024. These events will offer students the opportunity to:
- Apply for admission and drop off documentation (transcripts, etc.)
- Speak to Admissions staff for help choosing your educational pathway
- Apply for financial aid and get your billing and tuition payment questions answered
- Get help completing your testing requirements the same day
- Meet with an advisor to plan and register for classes
- Learn about the special programs, services and opportunities we provide

During this Eversource hour-long session, we will share Electric Power Utility Technology Program information, application requirements, hear from our EPUT alumni regarding their experiences followed by a Q&A session. A Bunker Hill Community College representative will also be present to answer any admission questions.

Selma
Join the community to watch the historical, drama film, Selma. Although the Civil Rights Act of 1964 legally desegregated the South, discrimination was still rampant in certain areas, making it very difficult for Blacks to register to vote. In 1965, an Alabama city became the battleground in the fight for suffrage. Despite violent opposition, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (actor: David Oyelowo) and his followers pressed forward on an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, and their efforts culminated with President Lyndon Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
