The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their educational records. Students are informed of their rights under this act through the college catalog and the Student Handbook.
Additionally, BHCC has designated the following items as directory information: student name, academic program, semesters of attendance, current enrollment status, dean's list, degrees or certificates awarded and dates of graduation. Directory information may be released by the college to a third party requesting such student information without first obtaining the student's consent. A student has the right to refuse to permit the college to release directory information, as limited by law, by following the process outlined by the Enrollment Services Center.
Students who have completed coursework at Bunker Hill Community College since 1984, can access their academic and financial records, including printing an unofficial transcript, by using the online services system.
