Graduation Requirements

In order to receive an Associate of Science Degree from the Department of Legal Studies and Public Safety all students must:

  1. Meet all college requirements established by the College. These requirements are found in the college catalogue.
  2. Complete the Legal Studies and Public Safety curriculum that was in place at the time of matriculation.
  3. Demonstrate adequate skills in computer and information technology by passing a challenge test or taking introductory computer course.

Please be advised that all legal studies and public safety students should consult with a full time criminal justice professor to devise an individual education plan in order to meet the above requirements.

*Criminal Justice Students are ineligible to receive academic credit through the Prior Learning Assessment Program
